The winner of a $107 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot in July is the 25-year-old son of the millionaire president of Marriott Hotels, Gawker.com reported yesterday.

Brian McCarthy, who bought the ticket at a grocery store in Herndon, Va., will take a lump- sum payment of $68.4 million, according to the Web site.

He said he’ll use some of it to go on a golfing vacation in Ireland and buy a BMW M3.

Brian had a more profitable year than his dad.

Robert J. McCarthy earned $1.2 million in 2009, Gawker reported.
